Steckdrain
STECKDRAIN
is a stainless steel quality drainage systems
suitable for use in both Gravity and Vacuum
pipelines and specially designed to be well capable
of handling corrosive waste products.
All components of the STECKDRAIN programme are
obtained from electrically seam welded pipes of
austenitic stainless steel (AISI 304 and AISI 316).
This materials has excellent characteristics of
resistance to corrosion and are, therefore,
preferred for food and sewage water.
Pipe and fittings are manufactured with a double
annular shape in which lodges the seal. The
installation of such a spigot and socket system is,
therefore, dramatically easy, since the joint is
realized just by the insertion of the spigot end
into the centre of the seal. The sealing ring is the
heart of the system and is precisely shaped to fit
within the socket and the inserted pipe or fitting.
The insertion of the pipe or fitting compresses the
seal and ensures a positive seal.
The use of the STECKDRAIN system is highly
recommended for applications on board of special
craft and Navy vessels because of the sensible
reduction in terms of global piping weight. Here are
